Dr. Manu Vora, an instructor in Northwestern University School of Professional Studies’s Master of Science in Regulatory Compliance (MSRC) program, will receive the prestigious Harrington/Ishikawa Medal at the 20th Asian Pacific Quality Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on November 23, 2014. The award is given annually to a quality professional who has made outstanding contributions to the advancement of quality methodologies in the Asia Pacific region.
Dr. Vora has more than 35 years of leadership experience in the field of quality management. He has guided Fortune 500 companies in Baldrige Performance Excellence assessments in the areas of leadership excellence, customer satisfaction, employee engagement and process improvement; is a past vice president of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) National Board of Directors; and has previously served as the chairperson for ASQ Chicago and as chief judge of the Illinois Team Excellence Award program. He is currently a member of the Board of Examiners of the Asia Pacific Global Performance Award, and is the current chairman and president of Business Excellence, Inc., a global quality management consulting service firm. He teaches quality assurance project management in the MSRC program.
